1 Full-Frame Sony is on Amazon’s Best Sold Mirrorless Cameras

Amazon often changes its list of cameras based on the demands of users and their purchase patterns. This time, too, we see a different trend, with Sony and Canon being the most sought-after devices amongst photographers. The list includes some popular names, while some have been recently launched. Either way, each of these mirrorless cameras has performed well, and here’s a look at what they are known best for.

1. Canon EOS R50

The Canon EOS R50

One of the most popular mirrorless cameras from Canon for beginners, the R50 was launched in 2023, with a 24MP APS-C sensor. It features a Digic X processor, ISO up to 51200, and 651 autofocus points. The camera also features a 1,620,000-dot LCD and a 2,360,000-dot viewfinder. Some of the things we liked about this device includes affordability, intelligent subject detection, ease of use, customization, good ergonomics, and light weight design.

2. Canon EOS R6 Mk II

Designed for serious enthusiasts, the Canon EOS R6 Mk II features a 24MP full frame sensor with ISO up to 204800. The camera also has 8 stops of image stabilization, 1053 autofocus points, a 40fps continuous shooting speed, and a 3,690,000-dot autofocus system. The camera offers great ergonomics and build, while the image quality is pleasing, making it also ideal for a variety of genres. As we said: “Images are sharp, with accurate skin tones and beautiful colors. Videographers, hybrid creators, and still photographers will appreciate the Canon EOS R6 Mk II as the brand’s newest all-around workhorse.”

3. Sony Alpha ZV-E10

A vlogging camera, the ZV-E10 has a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor, 4K videos oversampled from 6K, and features 425 autofocus points. The camera is popular, as we have repeatedly seen it trend on the best-selling mirrorless cameras list. This is one of the two video-centric cameras on the list.

4. Canon EOS R50 V

Yet another video-centric camera, the R50 V has been designed to meet the needs of the creators of moving images. It features a low-pass filter, 24MP RAW still files,  4K UHD video at 30fps, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and ISO up to 51,200. The camera was released to beat Sony’s ZV range, which is what many vloggers have been choosing.

5. Canon EOS R100

One of the barebone mirrorless cameras, the EOS R100 is designed for beginners who need a step-up from their phones. The camera houses a 24MP APS-C sensor, a Digic 8 processor, ISO up to 25600, and just 143 autofocus points. It can also record 4K/24p video, 120 fps shooting at 1280 x 720, and features a 2.36 million-dot OLED viewfinder. While the camera offers great images and a price point, the challenge is that it is slow. As we said in our review: “The Canon EOS R100 is good for cheap, high-quality snapshots, but new photographers, content creators, and vloggers are going to outgrow this slow camera too quickly.”

6. Sony a7 IV

Last but not least in the mirrorless cameras list is the Sony a7 IV, a full-frame camera designed for professionals. It features a 33MP sensor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, 759 phase-detection autofocus points, and 4K/60p video recording with 10-bit S-Log3. The camera has excellent animal, face, and bird detection along with tracking, good meter, fast autofocus, sharpness in images, and amazing skin softening for portraits.
