Camera trends are challenging to follow. From full-frame to point-and-shoot to film cameras, there is just so much variety to choose from. However, we noticed that in the past week, many photography enthusiasts or casual shooters were looking for a few names, each with a different format, on Google. Why? We aren’t sure. But this list can give you a better insight into people’s buying patterns and needs.
Sony NEX 3N
Sony’s NEX series was created for anyone looking to get into mirrorless systems. The NEX 3N is no different, housing a 16MP APS-C sensor, Full HD video at 60p, and ISO up to 16,000. The camera also offers 15 picture effects, a built-in Guide Number 6 flash, and face detection. It is lightweight, offers great image and video quality, and is easy to use. If you are looking for an entry-level camera, then this one is for you.
Fujifilm XS10
If you are talking about compact entry-level cameras, then Fujifilm will be on that list. The Fujifilm XS10 has a 24MP X-Trans sensor, 5-axis IBIS, 2.36 million dot EVF, and the same autofocus system seen on the X-T4. The camera can shoot continuously at 30fps with the electronic shutter, 4K 4:2:2: 10-bit external, and new auto film simulation. While it lacks weather sealing, the XS10 offers nice image quality, a flip-up screen, and the IBIS works well. It is a camera that is ideal for people who want a vintage look and feel.
Canon EOS M100
Launched in 2017, the Canon M100 features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS, along with a DIGIC 7 processor. It is designed for people who want to upgrade from their phones, and so, it also includes a 3-inch tilting LCD, 6fps burst shooting, full HD video at 6-p, Wi-Fi, and a 295-shot battery. In addition, it has ISO up to 25,600, in-camera RAW conversion, bulb exposure, and creative filters for anyone who wants to be experimental.
Nikon Coolpix S6900
The Nikon Coolpix cameras have seen a revival in recent weeks, thanks to growing demand for point-and-shoots. The S6900 was launched in 2015, featuring a 16MP 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and a 12x 25–300mm f3.3–6.3 lens. The device has a 3-inch 460,000-dot vari-angle screen, which can be used for selfies and group portraits. There is also ISO up to 6400 autofocus with tracking and face detection, and a continuous speed of 9fps. For more control, you also get 20 different scene modes.
Fujifilm FinePix A800
One of the oldest cameras on the list, launched in 2007, the Fujifilm FinePix A800 houses an 8.3MP Super CCD HR sensor with a 36-108mm lens. It also has a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, ISO up to 800, 256-zone TTL metering, and a shutter speed of 1/1600. The camera is ideal for anyone looking to achieve Y2K aesthetics in their images, but they can make do with a slower camera. Since it has a CCD sensor, you are likely to get vivid colors, too.
