The Hohem iSteady MT3 Pro gimbal is a solid value for filmmakers who want to up their YouTube, IG Reels, TikTok and other social media content. It is easy to set up and balance. It has a great 13 hour battery life. It handles most modern mirrorless and DSLR cameras with 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses. The integral/removable touch/live view screen can control AI tracking of people, pets, cars and more by boxing them on the screen the tapping to start. The results are smooth and fluid. The Pro kit includes a briefcase handle and a focus or zoom motor which also adds a lot of value.
I love that the iSteady MT3 Pro has an Arca style clamp built in. This makes mounting my Canon R5C’s cage easy. It works great with my Canon R5 and its really Really Right Stuff L-plate too.
My only gripe is the same one I have with other gimbals. The battery is not removable so the whole gimbal has be in carry-on luggage as airlines do not allow lithium-ion batteries in checked bags. It’s a small thing until one counts all the other stuff to be brought on board as a passenger.
