Panasonic’s portfolio has been quite impressive. Their L-series cameras open up a new door for photographers who wish to have a wide-ranging set of lenses for their varying needs. In fact, for hybrid shooters, a Panasonic camera with more lens options seems like an ideal choice, than opting for competing brands. With options like real-time LUTs, many image-makers, including street photographers, can make their workflows even easier. Panasonic S1R II
The Panasonic S1R II is a flagship camera that is ideal for many professional street photographers who also shoot videos. The device has a 44.3MP full frame sensor, a new Leica 2 engine, 779 AF points, 8 stops of IBIS, and AFC to 40fps with blackout free. The camera has 39 LUTs, a shutter speed limiter, multiple exposure modes, and 14 stops of dynamic range. Panasonic S5 II
The Panasonic S5 II is another hybrid camera that features a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor and open-gate 6K30p 4:2:0 10-bit video recording option. It has 14+ stops of dynamic range, 779 phase-detection points, and a newly developed Active I.S. system. The weather-resistant camera, as a result, captures great images, feels good in your hands, and has incredible battery life. It’s CineLike V2 is exceptional for image quality, and the LUTs are amazing to work with. The autofocus is also exceptional to work with, making it ideal when you are even photographing people. Panasonic S9
One of the best cameras for those who want a rangefinder compact body, the S9 features a 24MP full frame camera with 6.5-stop image stabilization. It has 30 fps pre-burst shooting, a real-time LUT button, and autofocus detection for subjects like human, animal, car, and motorcycle. The autofocus for the camera is just exceptional, the menus are simple to use, and the high ISO output. As we said in our review, “When autofocusing, street photography will be much better when you’re using focal lengths wider than 50mm just because of how things happen. For $1,499 the Panasonic Lumix S9 is at a pretty great price point when you consider the stylish looks and the fact that it can more or less replace your Fujifilm cameras when using the Real Time LUT features.”
