New Logitech Software Update Brings Powerful Tools to MX Creative Console

There’s some exciting news if you have been using the MX Creative Console from Logitech. Logitech just rolled out a major creative console software update, and it seems packed with new features that expand what this sleek little control panel can actually do.

Launched initially last autumn, the MX Creative Console was already a useful tool for automating creative tasks across Adobe tools. But today, with this new Logitech software update, it seems even more valuable. Particularly if you’re in Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Figma, or DaVinci Resolve, it is a game-changer for you.

What’s New in Logitech Software Update?

This refresh isn’t merely a stealthy backend adjustment. Now accessible through the Logi Marketplace, the refresh introduces formidable new integrations. It is now with enhanced functionality for Final Cut Pro, a highly sought-after addition by video editors.

There’s something cool that I found: there’s now an Adobe Lightroom plugin, not only for Lightroom Classic, but for the newer cloud-based version as well. With it, you can control the console’s dial to straighten photos (yes, literally twist of the wrist), and allocate rating or flagging shortcuts to the LCD keys on the keypad. I believe that is going to make a big difference in terms of time saved in editing sessions.

Designers, you’re not excluded either. Figma users now have at their disposal a plugin that assists in accelerating layout work. You can align text, move spacing around, modify layout proportions, and even modify font weight through the console’s dial. This all happens without repeatedly switching back and forth between menus.

For colorists and directors, DaVinci Resolve support includes additional editing capability. That’s not it. There is also additional functionality for Affinity Photo, the Photoshop rival that’s becoming popular for its powerful toolset.

And if you’re wondering whether all this is just a productivity gimmick, Logitech says no. Users have reported tangible boosts in productivity since using the MX Creative Console. And honestly, with these updates, I can believe in that.

Wondering About Price?

At $199.99, I dont think the MX Creative Console isn’t an impulse purchase. But with this software update, it’s a far more capable tool for more types of creatives like you. It doesn’t matter if you’re video editing, adjusting photos, or crafting an interface. This is the type of upgrade that makes the equipment you already have feel new again.
